What we do.....
KCELL Badminton Academy is an affiliated feeder cell to Badminton Ireland's high performance centre in Marino Dublin. KCELL aims to offer top level coaching to all aspiring badminton players from beginner right up to elite level. If badminton is your sport then KCELL is for you. If you live in Kildare or surrounding counties KCELL's central location in Kilcullen, on the M7 & M9 with free all day parking, KCELL will work for you. 
  1. Beginner Coaching
    KCELL is not just for the elite players looking to fine tune their skills with extra coaching & training. KCELL is also for beginners who want to make badminton their primary sport and who want to develop their skills. Each term we offer beginner classes for those who feel that committing to badminton is right for them.
  2. Technical Coaching
    Coaches with a wealth of international experience both on the field of play and in the coaches chair will teach you all you need to know about the technical skills of badminton.
  3. Tactical Coaching
    Our coaching team have numerous medals and titles to their name on the International circuit. To win you have to be tactically aware as well as having technical talent. Learn from those who have won major medals and International competitions.
  4. European Academy Tie-ups
    With an extensive pan European connection list, KCELL will tie up with other academies across Europe with a view to broadening not only our students horizons but also our own.
  5. Strength & Conditioning Training
    KCELL has access to a fully equipped gym only 2 minutes walk from the main sports hall in Kilcullen. KCELL will hold strength & conditioning sessions to accompany the rest of its coaching programme throughout the term. (additional fees will be applied)
  6. Affordable Fees.
    With an affordable fee structure KCELL hopes to offer value for money with the main focus on developing new talent for the medium and long term. Sessions are only €15.00 for a full two hour programme one day a week to start. KCELL hopes to extend to 3 sessions per week by summer 2016.
